Crypto.com’s efforts to become a regulation-compliant company and become an industry standard are in full force. Another milestone was achieved just yesterday by receiving SOC 2 Type 2 Compliance audit through the consulting firm: Deloitte.
SOC 2 is a voluntary compliance standard for service organizations, developed by the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA), which specifies how organizations should manage customer data.
Crypto.com is paying attention to compliance and completing voluntary audits to showcase its long-term commitment to becoming a trustable crypto company. When a company is taking extra measures and putting its resources toward security, it is a good sign that they are keen on building a legacy conglomerate.
“Achieving SOC 2 Type II certification is yet another step in reinforcing Crypto.com’s continuous commitment to security and data privacy by design,” said Jason Lau, Chief Information Security Officer of Crypto.com.
“I am extremely proud of our commitment to compliance, and this latest achievement is a testament to our security, privacy, and regulatory compliance capabilities which have been cornerstones of our business since day one,” said Jason Lau, Chief Information Security Officer of Crypto.com. said Kris Marszalek, CEO of Crypto.com.
